Can anyone help advise? I'm building up an On One carbon race 29er and I've heard that there are potential drivetrain issues...

Does anyone have a well-functioning double chainring, and if so what kit? All advice gratefully received...

I used to have a double set up with the direct mounted SLX front mech that came with the bike… I am now running 1x10 but mostly because I'd had enough of chain sucks! Don't think it's necessarily the frame. What I will say though is that On One have an incredibly incompetent customer service department! Won't go into detail as there is too much to cover.

I fitted a 2 x 10 XT mech to my C456. It wasn't happy being fitted to the flared lower section of the tube, hence i beasted it on, but it seems to work ok

god knows what damage its done to the frame though 🙂

Interested in sbarley's comment about chainsuck as i've been getting far to much since going 2 x 10 - very annoying
