Are the On One 29er wheels any good, including the Planet X hubs?
Only concern with the hubs is getting spare parts may be more difficult than say Shimano / Hope?
Wheels are good but a bit hefty, hubs are fine, they use standard bearings and I'm fairly sure the freehub is the same as another make of hub (DMR??) so spares are available.
I've got a pair that I use throughout the winter (to save my nice wheels) and they've survived some harsh treatment for a couple of years now.
sure they're a bit heavy but that's not always a bad thing.
My O-O 29er wheels have been used very lightly but on close inspection have like fine lines on the rims...I'm guessing its to the paint (I think they're painted ๐ ). Aside that they been fine.
One thing I did noted was the lockring for the centrelock rotors is a slightly different size thread than the standard shimano lockring size so you can only use the Kore ones that came with them.
Mine have done several thousand miles with no problems
