Thinking about putting the rapid rise on the new bike from the old one, anyone using a new Deore shadow? Has the tech got better in the shadow or is XTR just XTR and the best all round?!

I know, that's half the problem i got used to the rapid rise on the old bike, was thinking about swapping over to new one but have got close to a few rocks and wondered if the Deore shadow (standard rise) was worth getting used to. Using XT shifters.
