Was there an axle size between 10 and 14mm? I've got a wheel with axle that measures about 12.5mm and need some nuts for it asap. Anyone know what size i might need? Imperial? Any help appreciated!

I'd guess that it needs imperial nuts rather than metric. I know when I was rebuilding an old Raleigh Chopper, although the axle size looked similar to my BMX spares, nothing in the spares box would fit. Maybe worth asking on here though.

Just spotted this while trawling ebay for bmx stuff, so yes, I guess they did make 12mm axles - may be worth getting in touch with Cyclesport who should be able to help with nut sizing.

Thanks for the link, MamaD. I might have it sorted now after a call to Hotwheels. They say Mongoose used a 12mm years ago, and i have some nuts in the post! Just hope them's the right ones. Thanks for your input though, i appreciate your time. Cheers, G.
