I have an early/original DX light, one of the first ones I think, with 4 cells.
I've not used it much, anyone know how long it should run?

I only had (still have, & fully working in fact), the single cell torches & they would go an hour & a bit on a cell.
The later XML ones, I get about 3hrs I think, on full wack.
Three hours when new, but as it's a few years old i only get about two and a half out of mine now.
Not for 17 hours!!
Are you needing more light for the weekend?
Think I'll be ok - 8.5 and I have some Aye ups to borrow.

As said about 3hrs when new if you got a good battery. My 4 year old one now lasts about 20 mins.
I can loan you an XML, or even just a couple of the battery packs, if you pay post both ways
