Any old G-Spot owners on here? I've just built up mine with a DHX5.0 with a 500lbs spring and it feels rather undersprung for me at about 13.5st all kitted up. Anyone have one of these care to let me know what they're running?

Cheers!

Cheeky bump... Anyone? I've had a look on the spring calculators but some advice from real humans would be nice too ๐Ÿ™‚

Going to a stiff one (ooerr missus).150mm travel from 50mm stroke is 3-1 leverage ratio which is pretty high.Seen a few over the years with 600lb springs and they were'nt fat knackers! What do the spring calc's say?

TF says 619lbs and Mojo 670lbs, so I'm thinking a 600lbs or a 650lbs would be about right - I don't do much by the way of big jumps and drops, though I do ride as fast as I dare over big pointy rocks.

Can you get 650x2"?.Had to fit a coil on a commencal mini supreme for a fat knacker (hi J!) and had a nightmare because the spring was almost too long to get the bottom stop on even with the preload ring wound all the way off. They have to be long because the coil is so thick they get coil bound (coils touch each other) if they are shorter. If you can get a 650 I'd get that-less pre load is always better than more.

Aye TF sell Manitou ones up to 750lbs in a 2", so a 650 should be ok I think...
