Am I wasting my time considering a visit to the trails at Guisburn tomorrow then?

my best guess is that it will be snowy, slushy and very muddy.

If the snow has all melted then it will be just muddy.

Why would you be wasting your time ?

Blah blah blah... Why would you be wasting your time ?

Because I want to be able to drive to the location safely and in reasonable time, and I would like to ride some good quality trailcentre trails - not take half a day to get to somewhere, not be able to use the access facilities and then have to push my bike for several miles through deep snow before pretending that 'riding' in snow is 'ace' when it actually sucks the fat one.

Next question?

fair enough SA - we still have snow & ice here in upland lancashire too but I guessed all the roads would be open even up to Gisburn.

off road 'real' routes are still OK as they have snow compared to compacted snow/ice which is what I was basing my rash statement on.

more snow today so they will be better still hopefully .

Apologies
