Helped my son get packed up into his mates polo to head off for kirroughtree pmba at 6 this morning. First race trip without me or another parent around....two 17 year olds, bikes a car and a tent.... wonderful!

Dull and damp here. Trying to drag the kids out of the house to do something, anything outdoors. Even a short walk in the local woods. Youngest can't find anything to wear so is sat crying half naked. FFS. Not having a good morning.
Had a workout, been to the patisserie for fresh almond croissant and been out for a loop on the bike with the dog. Noticed that leaves have already turned on the sycamore trees already. Good start to the weekend.

Lovely ride yesterday evening and this morning but where on earth is everyone? Spent about 3hrs in total exploring cheeky and new to me bridleways, only passed two groups of walkers in that whole time & that's in the beautiful overcrowded Chilterns 😃
Lovely up here in Yorkshire so I celebrated by riding over to Lancashire to do what I think is my first 100 miler of the year 😋
