Wife has a HT v1 which she loves for descending but hasnt really gelled for climbing. Looking at it I wonder if the SA is quite slack. Seat is way forward, lower rolling tyre, shock set ok ect. She used to ride Yeti SB5C
So can I steepen seat angle with an offset bushing??
Before she buys a new frame/bike before I can for me 😉

As an alternative you could get a angleset either Works Components or Superstar to slacken out front and steepen the seat tube.

Integrated headtube, so angle adjusting headsets options are limited.

Nine point 8 do an angleset that I believe is compatible for Santa Cruz, worth checking…

That would raise the headtube thus slacken the seat angle. So no.

SlackR and fork to 140mm and you'll end up with a steeper seat tube with a similar hta to stock @160 I would think.

Offset don't recommend running the bushes the wrong way round.

Go with a headset over offset shock hardware. Have you tried sliding the saddle forward on its rails as a cheap option?

Yeah seat pretty much slammed forward. Fork already at 140mm

I would imagine the forces going through the bushes would push them towards the "slack" setting as the path of least resistance
