Got some new Hope V2s the other day. Great brakes but there is a twist in the braided hose of both front and rear.

Cannot seem to get hoses to untwist, no matter how i try to twist the hose in the other direction and then fit the caliper and lever.

Not a massive problem but looks a bit odd and front hose rubbing on the head tube/fork brace.

Any ideas?

Already have Moto V2s and don't have the same problem.

Cheers

Unbolt lever, tighten both connectors 1/4 turn, re-fit lever.

try undoing the banjo and flipping it over or as coatsy says - the hose is resistant to twisting hence the funny kinks you get in it

Just to clarify.

So I need to unbolt lever from bars, and tighten both connectors, at the lever end and the caliper?

Is that correct?

Have just tightened connector at lever end 1/8th of a turn and that has worked a treat.

Why didnt I think of that! ๐Ÿ™„

Must be the heat! ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks
