What's golf specific about them? The G30 vented lens seems like a good bet for mountain biking. Am I missing something or do golfers just like to think they're a bit exclusive?

they're just sunglasses....making thm "golf specific" means they can charge a premium for them

I bought some shooting specific oakleys once and had to ride about with my left eye closed 😉

Golf Specific "Its G30™ lenses actually enhance your depth perception by boosting visual contrast"

The shooting specific G26 lens "Whether you’re in the flat light of overcast skies or the glare of medium bright sun, G26™ boosts the orange in targets while increasing contrast against green and blue backgrounds. It not only makes the target stand out; it enhances your depth perception"

Golf specific ones block your view of Fire Hydrants and make you irresistible to pig-ugly face-lifted cocktail waitresses.

I had a pair of the rowing specific ones, but got fed up of having to ride everywhere sitting backwards.

I've got some flack jackets with the 'shallow blue' fishing specific polarised lenses and they are great for riding in. Got a warm brown tint and are not too dark. Really impressed with em.

Not sure why the shooting specific glasses say 'must not be used for any other activity', can't see the vision being un usable for anything else.

That's okay, as I thought then. So the wife isn't going to die by riding in these then?

Recently got prescription Flak Jackets XLJ with bronze polarising lens. Am very pleased with the vision and fit. The XLJ lens fits close to the cheek to reduce wind/dirt ingress. But they were bl00dy expensive!
