do you reckon that the TdF makes up a major part of the Oakley budget. It looks like all the riders were wearing the design failures that would not normally sell, get em on Cav, Wiggins, Lance and out the door they but only in the worst colours. The was one interview with Wiggo and he looked like the block from Buggles (radio star). Whats happened to a bit of style.

I got the matt whites from Steptoes.co.uk for a discount. Also bought the vented clear lenses from somewhere else (can't remember where, sorry).

Was still an outrageous amount of money to spend on glasses... but I thought I'd treat myself. I quite like how they look, and they are very comfortable, with excellent field of vision.

I haven't ridden with the dark or yellow lenses in yet (damn uk weather), but had virtually no probs with the vented clear lenses, apart from when I was standing at the top of a beast of a climb in muggy weather. Cleared as soon as I moved off.

Wore them for the full 24hrs of Bontrager 24/12 with no probs at all.

Got mine from Steptoes as well. I have polarized lenses so no vents. They do sit very close to my face. Not been on the bike with them yet so I don't know if they heat up when riding. The positive about that though is they'll be good for skiing / boarding as well, without having to resort to goggles.

You'll probably get some more airflow / cooling with the vents - but I doubt you'll notice.

Steptoes for Jawbones or Radars. Custom Jawbones available in September apparently.
