Off to see the Black Crowes at the Birmingham O2 Academy tomorrow, and need some recommendations for where to park (google map doesn't make it look as easy as it is at the Arena). Is there any where to get food nearby? I'm driving there straight from work so need a pizza or similar.

Mailbox multi-storey...
Last time I went we street parked up the hill, off the island between the tower blocks, & there's parking along the road. My BIL is a blue badge holder but I'm sure they were normal P&D bays. Here...

Food...there's a few places by the Hippodrome, round the corner.

Presume it's a safe area, easy to walk from car park to venue?
It's quite busy around there so it's safe enough.
yep mailbox is good, park between a ferrari and a mazerati , loads of places on the upper part of new st for food, 10-15 minute walk to academy from the mailbox

Try the Arcadian around the hippodrome/ hurst street area if you like Chinese food
