Are crown race's different for different headsets ?
So if i am changing a set of forks over that have had a Hope head set with them on an old frame on to a frame that has an FSA headset on it i would need to change the crown race as well or transfer the hope headset on to the new frame.
Just want to make sure i get it right 😀

Not such a numpty question. There are two main types of sealed bearing used in headsets (one used by Cane Creek and the other by FSA). I think Hope use the cane Creek-type bearings but I could be wrong. Best take the bearing out and look what is written on it.
