Folowing on from the current rides thread, I'm suprised at how many people have 3 or more rides? Does anybody just have one bike these days?

Trying to get down to 3, although 1 of those is a roadie I've not picked up from a friend yet. Other 2 are hardtail and full susser. However, it currently lies at 5. 😳

Mrs Bullheart is sitting beside me reading this thread.

She sighed, shook her head from side to side and exclaimed;

"it's a problem. isn't it?"

Except we then tallied up ours. She has two, I have five and there are enough parts for another thirty odd.

She is part of the problem, and doesn't even recognise it. Poor lady...

1 Fixed wheel road bike
1 Winter trainer / commuter road bike
1 carbon road bike

Probably have enough parts to build another road bike.

7 😳

[s]Titus[/s] On One 5" full susser
Santa cruz 4" full susser
Ti29er geared hardtail
Swift 29er SS hardtail
'98 Kona hardtail
Crosscheck commuter
Soma Doublecross (not built yet)

Would like to get down to 4 but that would mean getting rid of the Swift, Santa cruz and either Kona or Surly. Which would be stupid really! 🙄

6. Soon to be 5. That's commitment to a lower bike ownership lifestyle 🙂
ST4, Hummer, Pace 405, DMR Trailstar LT, Ribble road bike, Boardman Road bike.
Plus one each for kids - Spesh Myka WSD and Islabikes Beinn and my Wife's dusty Hardrock.

That's not even double figures.

Only 4 here.

456ti for the UK
S-Works Enduro for Alp duties / uplift days
Spec Globe for riding to work on
Allez for riding to work quickly / blasting round where I live when I can't be arsed to mountain bike.

In a house of 3 people, we total 7 though. Daughter (7) has 2 bikes already...

Wife did have 3 up until this Summer so we would have had 9 then!

6 complete & another 2 in bits.
A good rule to follow: Number of bikes required=N+1 where N is number of bikes currently owned.
