I know some of you guys have experience of the mega on here but would anyone know if I would be able to fit my xtr chainset set straight onto it in its tripple ring guise? I think it's been designed with a single/double and bash in mind but I just want that spread of higher gears and I dont really want to spend more monet just yet on a 10 spd setup.
Won't run a triple.
Ok brant thanks for the info, looks like its 9sp with a double untill i can afford the change to 10spd.
Just as an aside, Id like to commend you for bringing out whats undoubtedly going to be a ***** hot frame at an affordable real world price. Looking around with intention to buy its rare occurance in this day an age of cycling.
Dont suppose you can bring out a suspension fork that pulls off the same trick please! Fox 36 competior for 500 quid any one!
We have two guys in Taiwan right now going through final spec approvals and changes and tests and all that kind of thing right now. Hammering them on the test rigs to optimise, before final sign off.
Amazing how much difference a little radius, or weld path change can make to things.
Nearly there!
Well keep up the good work there Mr Brant, we are relying on you to pull out the most affordable fun we've had on two wheels since skyway tuffs ruled the world!
get a room please
What the limitation that stops it from running a triple ring setup?
Hi Brant,
What's the biggest outer ring it will take in a double setup? Would I get a new XTR trail 38-26 setup on there? I see on the CRC site it suggests that the limit is at 36.
