I'm about to 'press the button' for a Large yellow one. I've already convinced myself! I can see me purchasing a large amount of helicopter tape before venturing out.
I may need to start with a hybrid headset to get the 150mm Revelations to fit properly. I think I need a 1.5" external lower cup to raise the front 20mm with my shorter forks. Am I right?
my rocky mountain altitude has a 75 degree seat tube which is great for climbing but can be an ass for descending as the seat tends to hit your backside. dropper post is a must
Damn, no yellow large left! Oh well, gonna have to be stealthy... Black it is.
Left? Do you mean to pre order?
Weeell, I'm sort of 'in the trade' and persuaded my boss to become a Nukeproof dealer today and there are no Large Yellows to order from the first shipment. I can't wait, so Black it is!
If that doesn't work 'cos I can never embed things round here...mpora mega vid
Seen that, very good.
Cameraman wants kicking though!
Anyone built one up yet? and what weight would a fully built one come in at roughly?
Really considering getting ride of my XC and FR bikes and just have one.
Only the ones in the vids so far! Officially not available until 1st week of June.
I'm guessing 29lb to 32lb depending on build and how much money thrown at it! Nigel Page's machine claimed 'around 30lb' and that's with Bombers and Nukeproof stuff is not the lightest around.
Hi, i've builded mine, on my personal "taste", and is about 13.9kg !!!!
Here you can see a photo ;-).

Any rider reviews on how these ride yet?
well, I've had mine a week now and prob done about 10hrs of riding (two 3-4 hr xc rides a more more dh'y session today).
First disclaimer is that I've just spent a load of dosh and and am in the honeymoon period but I will try to be objective...
Compared the the pitch...more firmly damped (i.e.more low speed compression, the Mega has a hard compression tune on the monarch shock)
Similarly slack (pitch had 160mm forks) although the mega is longer and feels a bit more stable at speed and in the air. Also feels a bit more eager to get in the air...perhaps the firm damping giving a bit more pop of roots etc if you want it.
Mega is stiffer (but heavier I think). Tracks really well on rooty off-camber. Feels nice and low, carves corners well and generally inspires confidence.
Does feel a bit more of an effort than the pitch on less demanding, more xc type riding. It really feels best when ridden hard. whereas the pitch was maybe a better all rounder and happier at 7 tenths...I dunno, still early days and still playing around with settings and getting used to it.
Really happy with the purchase though; I'm much more into going downhill these days and the mega is great at that; can't wait to get it to the Alps!!
