My, what a colour. After years of owning bikes in various shades of grey, black, cream and flat anodising, it's really quite extraordinary. Thanks mrs vinnyeh for a gobsmacking birthday present.

I've really enjoyed using The Bike Chain for their helpful and friendly service, despite me living hundreds of miles away- going on my experience (and the mmmBop thread) they seem an outstanding shop- it'd be nice if they'd consider opening a branch a bit more local to me. Nice effort from 2Pure as well, sorted me out with the right size Joplin outer as a replacement on a very good deal.

I know these aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm really looking forward to getting this built and dirty.

Ooooh yum yum yum!!

I'd love to build one of those up! I'm a riding-pansy, but total spanner-fiend!

Nod of respect to Mrs Vinnyeh : )

I was drooling over these at BikeShow last year.

Happy Birthday - Enjoy the new toy!

Careful with that clamp. You don't want to crush the carbon!

That's one hell of a birthday present. You should buy the missus a lawnmower in return though!

Frame's just resting in the clamp.

That corner of the garden's the best of a bad job I'm afraid. Though I'm sure I cut the lawn last week.

TBH, until it arrived today I'd never seen one of these close up, let alone ridden one.

I'm really liking that colour, once had a new ZXR750l2 in kawasaki green, its defiantly a fast colour, also saw another Dialled alpine in green this weekend,

Finished it (sort of) late last week. Still needs the Joplin remote attaching, and I've ordered a frameskin kit for it in the end. Driveside stays have whole reel of self amalgamating tape wrapped round for protection. A lot of the build is stuff I had lying around, only the drivetrain and seatpost were new I think. Float's need a good service- never noticed when they were on a hardtail. Stem is 50mm, and is a bit short I think- another 20mm would aid climbing I think.
Awesome fun to ride though- completely different to both the Maverick and Ti456. I can't believe it's been unchanged in 5years- it must have really opened eyes back then.

On an old note, vaguely related, 2Pure sent me some Nuclear Pesto paint today. My frame was direct from Ibis and didn't come with any, top service!

Apparently the Mojo SL now comes in this colour too.
The Mojo has been dropped to make more room for the HD 140 I guess.

I wish I could see the Vitamin P colour - every photo of that looks different. Nuclear Pesto always looks good though.

I'm looking to replace my Maverick ML7/5 with something. Is that what you moved from Vinnyeh?
