NP Neutron hubs, who manufactured them?

[#13399752]

In CRC/Wiggles final days I bought a bargain Scout, according to the listing this came with NP Neutron V2 wheels. I picked up a Microspline freehub too. I've came to fit the MS freehub and it's not compatible with the axle.

Who manufactured the hubs for NP? I've heard Novatech, any idea which model hub/which axle I need?

Another option is to buy an NX cassette, but I already have everything needed for a 12 speed conversion and would like to stick with MS so I have a matching standard between bikes.

The more extreme option is obviously a shiny new wheelset ?

I've bought bits from ascend components on ebay for my horizon wheels.

Would this fit your hub?

Edit: he's super helpful too, if you chuck him a message.

That's what I have, the axle is 17mm and the inner diameter of those bearings is 15mm unfortunately.

But I'll ping him a message and see what he says about axles ??

Bloomin’ eck. I’ve got Neutrons too and didn’t realise changing freehub type was such a faff. Looks like I’ll be microspline until the bitter end

@cerrado-tu-ruido

Using bloke maths that's money towards a new wheelset... 😉

I am 99% certain i've got a box full of those axles, but you might need to buy the end caps listed above.

Does PM work? Drop me one if so, and i'll check when i'm in the office this afternoon.

Just checked my spares (bought a load of bits and bobs from crc during their sell off), I've only got horizon pro rear axles unfortunately.

Fingers crossed you find what you need!
