So i'm thinking about new forks with this new Boost nonsense. Current wheel are those PlanetX WTB rims/El Guapo standard 6-hole hubs

The Wolftooth Boostinator kits come with HUb specific end caps(DT SWiss/Hope etc) How do the generic spacers work on these?, do the just flop around and fall out if every time you remove the wheel?
Are they worth a bash as a stop gap to new wheels, or not?>
Looks similar to a kit I had which did just have some loose spacers either side of the hub. Worked fine if you rarely remove your wheel, but a pain otherwise.
Nah sod that, the front wheel needs to come off to get it in the car. Balls.
Does anyone know what Boost is actually for?
(Apart from filling up landfill sites with regular width wheels of course).
