I've just bought some Stan's NoTubes Olympic rims, and it says on the sidewall that the maximum pressure is 60 psi for a 1" tyre. This is a bit of a problem for me as I'll be using it for commuter duties, and I like to inflate my tyres (Continental Gatorskins) up to 115 psi. Are these max tyre pressures for tubeless only? I really hope so! Aaaargh!!

I wouldn't risk it. Even with tubes in I've had a tyre escape off a Notubes rim in explosive style. You'll crap yourself when it goes off!

Stans told me that the max pressures are for tubeless setups. I've had 25 and 28mm tyres at 80psi on mine for 3-4 years with no problems, other than being a bit tricky to fit.
