What I believe to be a 1994 Marin Bobcat Trail, seems somewhere near original, 3x7 gripshift, tyres are shot, but I've found some good replacements of a similar vintage in my grandad's cow shed on my mum's old early 90's apollo, which might turn out to be a good source of general spares.
Bars are very narrow, that's the main, very immediate difference to my modern bikes, but it rides lovely!
Lbs took it in part-ex, I just couldn't leave it there, even if I hardly ever ride it and it gets hung on a wall, what a thing. It'll remind me not to moan about modern bikes if nothing else....

Modern tyres transform those old things - and the do ride just fine. We have a Stumpjumper of similar vintage as paper round bike here.
I like the blue colour.
I never got on with gripshift (thumbies on the other hand..) but otherwise that's great, nice condition.
Amazing how many old Marin hardtails you see around, shame to think of the hard times they have faced in recent years
