I did see a king ti bend in the same place .... But the owner did lower the roof of his Audi at the same time and write off the car.
Rigids taken its toll could be worse. I initially thought I'd ovaled the headtube on my favourite bike

It was . Swipe to the left you can see it fractured.
It's done 10 puffers , a handful of 10unders ,mayhem , dusk till dawn , Cairngorm loop a few times , done the Scottish coast to coast over the tops
It's had a good innings

I've seen a Chris King headset with a similar failure.
Second hand one fitted on a santacruz bullit.
