We cycled past him while he was waiting on the helicopter with paramedics in attendance. He was sitting up with a neckbrace on and looked pretty shaken. Was just at end of first lot of switchbacks going up from carpark on XC course so I guess he fell off near the bottom of the DH trails, it would have been on his first run if he was using the uplift, double misfortune!
As an aside, how busy was Innerleithen on sunday?! the top of the minchmoor was like Spooky wood (far better trail though!)
What's wrong with Spooky wood? Doesn't seem overly tough - wouldn't have thought the percentages would be too stacked (even though it wasn't there)?
