Hi everyone, i've found a company in Northern Spain who hire out camper vans (and they don't charge extra for bike racks!) but i just wondered if anyone knows what the biking is like in that area? Has anyone been there?

Cheers

Whereabouts in North Spain are you thinking of? We're in the Basque Country and there's loads of fantastic riding round here. All across the South Pyrenees is incredible for riding too.

Plenty of good riding, not just the Basque country. You've got the picos de Europa in Cantabria and Asturias (and other areas)

regarding areas i guess the beauty of the camper option is i can just drive to where the biking is, so i'm not restricted to one area. I wold pick the van up from Asturias airport (cheap easyjet flight and not too expensive for the bike either!). Does anyone know any websites i could look at to plan my holiday? Or should i just cruise round and see what i find?

Cheers everyone

There are some uplifts/cablecars in the Picos. The one up Fuente De is spectacular. Not sure whether they are bike friendly or not though.
