Planning to do snowdan this sun, but looking for some (pref non trail centre) alternatives if the weather does not play ball.
Glancing at an old bike fax guide book the clwydian range mostly looks a bit xc but the north berwyns around llangolan and corwen looks a bit more technical and fun.
From the book glyn ceiriog, wafafer and the lawnt, look interesting
Any comments on the above or other suggestions in the area.
