used to be my favourite local shop, bought a few bikes from them over the years
all that for £6k worth of bikes - idiots

Thankfully the police have recovered the bikes and caught the scrotes that did it 🙂

I just saw this in the local rag, says in the paper that there have been a number of arrests and that 3 bikes have been recovered.

It's the collatoral damage to the shop and other stock that wasn't taken that's particularly stupid.

As you said Brakes,

all that for £6k worth of bikes - idiots

Great that they got caught so quickly.

Spitfire Cycles in Barnard Castle got done over last year a week after a newspaper article about their new shop and the £2.5k Marin Mount Vision for sale - the thieves got about £10,000 worth of bikes. No idea if they got caught.
