Planning a first trip to the North Downs this Friday so looking for a route perhaps from Dorking for 3.5 hours or so, taking in all the best singletrack and man-made bits and pieces. Please email to address in my profile as GPX or Anquet format. I have the STW route but I don't think it includes all the best man-made trails.

Happy to swap/share routes in my patch - the Chilterns.

Thanks!

Actually it does! This isn't MBR you know! TBH do the medium loop, it is a good 3.5 to 4 hours, and gives you a good orientation in what is where. Don't expect to find too much online. There is more riding to be had in Winterfold woods, and the ride only glances at the whole spectrum of stuff on Leith Hill, but by the end of the Medium loop you will be glad to be back at the car. The Holmbury St Mary YHA carpark is the best place to startr, and good tea stops in Peaslake and Leith Hill Tower.

Most of all, enjoy yourself.

What he said, but also take some mud tyres, I reckon Leith Hill might be we bit sloppy at the moment, but perhaps someone who's been there since the weekend could give more up to date info?
