Im planning on riding about in the North Downs on Sat. Probably from Ranmore Common south to Holmbury / Leith / etc.

Some of my mates reckon it will be difficult to get there due to snow. (from Oxford). I reckon it will be no problem.

What are the roads like now ? Am I OK to be optimistic ?

Bit early to say...more snow forecast iirc. Just been up at Ranmore and road was snow/ice covered but cars were driving through.

Cheers, I assume the main roads will be fine, so if the little ones are crap we can park where end up and ride up to the original start point. My transit is shite in the snow - no weight on the back axle. It got stuck yesterday in a hard frost.
