Hi all, i've lived in Braunton, North Devon for a couple of years now, and am looking for people, groups out there that are interested in MTB'ing funnily enough. I know this may sound obvious, but everyone i know here is either into just DH, or road cycling. Anyone out there just enjoy going off with a OS map and following te tracks? There's so much good terrain nearby, itching to get out there.
Have you tried talking to the guys at South Fork Bicycle shop in Braunton?
They were always very helpful when I lived at Lynton/Ilfracombe. I seem to remember they organised rides during the Summer too.
The Southfork chaps used to organize MTB trips to the Quantocks and other places.

I live around the corner from Southfork, and have asked in there but with very little interest from anyone, same in Bike Planet in Barnstaple. Perhaps i'll ask again.
Dibbs... There are quite a few tracks around Braunton, and in Lee Woods, and then we're in easy drive of Quantocks, Exmoor and Dartmoor.
Andy... will let you know when i finally get a bit of a group together, hopefully in next couple of weeks will be getting over to Exmoor or Quantocks.
