going to the cyb area for a mates 50th in a couple of weeks
riding cadar idris on the friday, pont scethin on the sunday.
we want a non trail center route for the saturday.
any idea's welcome.
Could do Dolgellau to Barmouth on NCN, plenty of decent pubs in Barmouth as well as a bonus, the NCN also goes round the side of Cadr and that is worth checking out.
I'm off there on saturday for a week, and am thinking the same! CYB is good, but fancy something interesting instead. There is an old roman road in the Rhinog's that i fancy, but strangely its a footpath (!) so difficult to link into anything.
I know there is some routes that take in sections of cyb trail centre and some off piste action that uses some of the old bits before the centre was built if thats any help otherwise I will ask around, as I know a few people who should have a few ideas, mbnw.co.uk would be a good starting point, or I will ask Doug he has good knowledge of routes.
