Am I right thinking that an E2 is an E-type where Shimano have already removed the BB mount plate?
I need a 2x10 FD for my 2008 Lapierre Spicy and I was looking at FD-M785's...
Advice used to run on 'get an E-type and throw the mount plate' (press fit BB...) but the Lapierre OC forum seems largely inactive these days...
Just hoping to avoid annoying my LBS unboxing lots of mechs to check mount holes! 🙂
