[#10491882]

I have a Nomad pressure washer which I love, but need a new spray gun as the clips that grip onto the hose have finally given way.

However I cannot seem to find any Nomad parts online. Does anyone know if the company selling this still exists? Or have any ideas where I can get a compatible spray gun?

Thanks

Doesn’t look like it sadly. I’ve got one and it’s ace. Are there no other heads that would fit? Might be worth a trip to b&q?

I've not found one so far but will keep looking. The problem seems to be with the connection being within the sprayer head, rather than externally, if you know what I mean!

I've just replaced mine with a Worx one, as the pump has developed a leak - I had it all apart at the weekend, and have to bid it farewell after 5 years...

S, if you're in the London area, I'd take offer for it as spares - it's all complete, everything works and has 2 lithium ion batteries.

The leak is from the pump itself, I have reduced it to a trickle, but can't get rid of it entirely.

Thanks for your post.
I replaced various parts of mine last year, it is literally only the handgun I need. Would you be willing to sell just that part, and post it?

I would be most grateful

Thank you

Nomad no longer exists - they’re now JetWet but aren’t providing any Nomad support. The very helpful website advises you to contact ‘the manufacturer in China’ for parts/support.

I thought I’d killed mine but turned out to be a pine needle blocking the nozzle!

I don't use my Nomad often but the fact it uses Ryobi One+ batteries was a big factor in purchasing it - means the batteries aren't sat round 'going off' the whole time.

I'm a little reluctant to just let the nozzle go - leaves me with the entire rest of the thing, including 2 perfectly good batteries that are no use to me (I don't own any Ryobi tools)...

Let me think about it...

Can you not get a water gun with hose from Amazon and bodge it onto the existing hose with a jubilee clip or two?

It's a shame they are no longer supported. I've got an original non-battery Dirtworker and had to replace the gun a few yrs back. While it was quite expensive, the customer service was great.

Yeah, think I'll need to do a bit of messing around with other connections/ clips etc.

Shame there's no UK support now, very disappointing.

Thanks for all your comments

Hang on a bit and karcher are releasing a battery powered power washer. Similar to the worx but better ect, ect. I've a friend who's a sales manager for karcher and I tried one of only two in the country. It'll be priced at about £200 but is a great piece of kit.

I'd be genuinely interested to see what is that much better about it to be worth paying over twice the price of the Worx.

I had the same issue with my mobi washer. Kept replacing parts, buying old washers to take the parts off and keep it going, but the gun packed up and I just decided to get a Worx hydroshot. It is so much better. I got a free jerry can from a skip which holds lots of water and it's way more powerful than the mobi was.

That's interesting. I had a mobi too, but kept having problems with it, so I bought the Nomad.

Will see what comes along next!

Resurrecting a bit of an old topic but my Nomad washer battery decided to melt itself in to the charger today which was rather alarming. It went from looking ok to melting to sizzling goodness knows what out of it and making a hell of a noise very quickly. Sounds like there is nothing to be done about it but be thankful I was keeping an eye on it since they don’t exist as a company any more???
