Looking for winter rear tyre for my krampus, it would go on halo vapour 50mm rim.
I've got one (from Germany) to try on the front of my Stooge. Not got it out of the box though yet! It appears to be a good compromise between volume/weight/grip.
Got one sat in the shop for the back of the tandem just waiting for me to collect, missed closing time by five minutes tonight due to traffic.
May be the weekend before I get another chance to collect it now.
Any thoughts on these a few months later?
Can only comment on the 2.8 but it works very well on my plus bike (35mm rim) in pretty much everything.
How big do you want to go? 2.4" ardent exo has turned out to be bombproof for me over the last year.
Mines still sat there in the box, crappy winter and trails has meant the 2.4 stayed on for a bit longer than expected, though was thinking this week it's time to fit as the deeper sandier trails dry out, probably do it this weekend now.
