[#4612705]

Im probally a bit lazy, but I cant seem to find a definte answer online, so does anyone know off the top of their head, what the nipple size is with hope hoops (stans ztr flow ex), the hope website says 2mm brass nipples, but Im not sure thats quite right. I tried measuring with a ruler, but trying to gauge if its 3.25 or 3.4 mm is pretty tricky.

Cheers

size - what do you mean?

2mm is the nominal thread diameter of the spoke.

Most 14g (2mm) nipples use a 3.25mm key.

Park ones are alright if you can't get anything better - best is the old Sturmey Archer, but you can't get them any more. The old DT was very good. P & K Lie are the best you can get now.

The P&K ones are my favourite of what's currently available:

They also do an incredible wheel truing stand:

It is absolutely gorgeous - and have you seen the non-linear dial gauges? I'm using a Park TS3 at the moment which is very slick, but not the same level as the P&K even with dial gauges.
