Me and a couple of colleagues have a work thing in Reading next week and thought we might go for a ride after, Swinley seemed obvious, the lookout car park looks like it shuts at 6 though. Where to park near the trails? Ideally reasonably safely?
I know some of you guys do night ride there and assume you don't all live within riding distance...

The last ones easiest to navigate to/from, you just follow the devils highway all the way to/from the start of Seagull.

I've seen smashed car windows when we've stayed at Pennyhill so I guess car crime is not unusual in that area.
For anyone else thinking of going, you can get out after 6pm, but not in. So that was fine, and a jolly good time was had by all.
