Anyone know what opening party is like at mega and is there a closing party on the Sunday, plus night life in general as some friends are thinking of coming out for cheap holiday as I've booked an apartment, also weather conditions,can it get hot lower down the mountain

Of course there is the 'Mega Sexy Show' one evening later in the week (night before quali?). I think there is a closing party too, but we've never been.
pick bar drink beer, loads have people are either broken or left.
I do have some memory of me and a few mates DJ'ing to the bar staff and drinking a variety of shots/cocktails until I can't remember seemed good for our group.
Surprisingly dead in Alpe d'Huez despite the Mega and it's not the most charming of Alpine villages to hang out in I'm afraid. Not sure I'd go if it wasn't for the Mega.
if they are female they will have a great time, its a sausage fest
its usually really nice and warm in ADH and lovely down in Allemont (except for last year when it was very cold and wet!)
as said, dont think ADH is much fun to hang out in really, its certainly no chamonix!
Doesn't sound the best I'm not really bothered as I'll be racing,so wouldn't recommend bringing girlfriend either ?
