OK, custom built to order but at £1050 for a HT frame are they worth it? I ride a Chameleon, not much different surely?
Not sure if they're 'worth it' but still want one.
Problem is as soon as I talk myself into it, I start looking at all the other £500 do-it-all hardtails that make me question the extra £500 spend and I'm back to where I started.....without one.
over prised German tat ....... IMO
They are harsh and for the cash you could buy titanium or a pretty nice steel frame.

Saving for one myself.
If £1050 isn't much money to you then buy it.
If you have to scrimp to afford it then its not worth it really. Wont ride any better than the £500 hardtails as you say, infact it may even ride worse.
Spend the £500 saved on a trip to the Alps or something.
Experiences are worth infinitely more than material goods
I couldn't agree more. I spent many years gaining experiences and now all I have time to do is spend money on expensive toys.
