so i quite like these coloured rims.
can orange build them into my bike... 😉 will it be new spokes too or will they use my own ? lol duno how this works... gona check my wheel size as my rims are smaller than the average bike cos my bike is only a 14 inch frame...

It's a service Orange offer on a brand new bike, they'll powder coat the rims to match the frame colour (or colour of your choice) for a fee. Don't know if they offer it as an aftermarket purchase.

gona check my wheel size as my rims are smaller than the average bike cos my bike is only a 14 inch frame...

Unless you've got some uber niche new wheel size, or ride a kids/jump bike, your wheels will be a perfectly normal 26"...

i meant i have smaller rims 317 lol
ah so powdercoat the rims....hmmm should i go for this luminous colour lol... i do like it tho you,ll see me coming from miles away lol.
so would this powder coat last ? lol how long is apiece of string..lol.....
never been down this route before its anew one for me... 😉

Yes they will have to remove the spokes aswell, no need for painted rims IMO, black only. It's practically the law!

You could have the wheels taken apart by the lbs/orange and get your existing rims coated by a powdercoaters/orange then have them rebuild using the current spokes and nips.

Shouldn't be too much hassle but don't expect change from £100.

I am assuming that rims won't warp when coated by a normal coaters. Anybody had this done? I seem to remember swiftacular had some done pale blue for his wife's chamelion.
