I'm over Norfolk this week with nipper and noticed my BB was comprehensively shafted. Rang around about 6 LBS's and they all gave the same "it's manic and we can't fit you in for two weeks' response. Spoke to Ian at Specialised who said the same, however, he said "you're on holiday and If I can I'll get you mobile".
Confirmed there and then he had the correct BB in stock, I made the hour journey to Norwich, dropped bike off, went to McDonals and by the time I'd finished my box of 20 nuggets 😆 the phone rang telling me to come pick it up.
Got there, £35 for the BB and £12 labour. Lovely little honest shop going on there full of Brompton's and other whacky fold up bikes. Top stuff and I feel it's my duty to publicly applaud them.....
