Hi

Looking at going up there over Easter - anyone know a nice hotel nearby as I'm going with the wife who doesn't ride and wants somewhere nice to chill out. I've stayed at the Tyn Y Groes before, which is great for a weekend away but not so sure about it for this trip - somewhere with a spa/pool would be nice?

Me and the wife stayed at a loverly place called Maes-y-Neuadd. Bit posh and expensive but it was our wedding anniversary. Don't think they've got a spa, but location and meals were great. It's a bit tucked away, but not too far from CYB, Harlech, Port Merion.

Stayed at the Royal Ship Hotel at Dollgellau with lads from work. Hotel was OK, village is good, and near to CYB.

Lake Vyrnwy is lovely and often has deals. Fantastic restaurant and nice little spa. We've been there twice and it is such a beautiful setting. Takes dogs too. Maybe 45minutes from cyb though but your wife WILL be happy left there!

I stayed last Easter at Cadair View lodge. I really like that place. Its about 3k from Cyb and accessible by bike without going on the road.
I will stay there again when I next visit.
