BUT, why specify it as a "hardtail vid", why does it matter what kind of bike they're riding?

because now in almost every video you see now there is some dude on some 150mm enduro bike JRA.
and i like hardtails.
Don't get me wrong, I love riding hardtails. I just think, especially for those trails, its not relevant, the vid would have been just as entertaining on full-sus 29ers
i like that first video alot. I'd love to ride those trails, although i'd rather wait for the spring, as im a bit soft...

Think I followed that guy down Dirt Merchant a couple of times when I was in Whistler, couldn't come close to keeping up on my 7" travel bike! Unbelievably quick rider.
