Any one recommend a good place to stay with good food in a pub or a good B&B with food near by so we can park up for a couple of days riding and ignore the car?
Thanks
The Marton Arms is brilliant, but might be expensive...

i think i read that 5 mountain bikes worth approx £15k were nicked from a locked up shed at a B & B in Ingleton a couple of weeks ago, so double check on bike security for anyone you contact. !
I've stayed at Seedhill a couple of times (a few years ago) and enjoyed it...very central...good parking...it also operated as a teashop, so cake was available in the afternoon, also opposite Bernies cafe (if still there)...just in case a second breakfast was needed !, Only 100 metres from a pub that did decent food. Not sure if there is any bike storage though

good Theakstons beer and some cracking riding
Thanks all I have booked at the Wheatsheaf. Everwhere was pretty busy for may bank holiday weekend.

a wise choice, wheatsheaf is a cracking boozer with ace nosh and a good beer garden if you get the sun.
