Well the only new bit is the stem but its a new build. Havn't had a hardtail for a good couple of years and when I realised I had pretty much enough spare parts to build one I had the frame back off my old man (who never rides anyway) and built up a SS. Never tried SS before this and its a fun and a good excuse to need to push up hills, although I would like to be able to ride up them.

So steel long travel ss and ht its almost an exercise in how many boxes to tick.

I'm not sure you meet the requirements for long travel ๐Ÿ™‚ interesting chain tensioner.

Well they arnt 7" things but 130mm is relatively long travel. I went with the stinger as a tensioner as I had it and its a little different, it also makes removing the back wheel very easy.
