Finally got to have a play on my new Voodoo Bizango after being laid up after an op for a few weeks.

The bike was set up by the dreaded Halfords......say no more.

The bike won't go on to the small cog on the front derailleur. It also seems very clunky switching between the other two front gears. At one point, whilst I was playing around, the front derailleur shifter went all 'floppy' and wasn't doing anything.

What adjustments do I need to make?

Apologies if my terminology and descriptions are crap, I am learning ๐Ÿ™‚

I would take it to your local bike shop and ask them to have a look.

first step would probably be take it back to halfords to let them have a go at getting it right. then get some reading material, zinn and the art of mountain bike maintenance (my preference) or the park big blue book. these will give you all the info you should need to set the bike up properly and start your own spannering. then if Halfords don't do the job you will have the reference to start from.
