Are you ther are mountain bike routes not far from newark on trent, apart from sherwood forest, there for a week and want to get out on my mountain bike

Pretty much, none. If you're willing to drive for an hour, then there's plenty, but nothing on the doorstep.

Belvoir Loop is about a 20 min drive away starting at Stathern which is ok, oh and a couple of not very interesting loops around Leadenham
