Hello,
I bled one of my xtr levers today, and noticed oil squirted out of a hole in the master cylinder. After having a look around it appears its common, but is it a failed seal or a normal blow off feature?

Any ideas?
another search looks like its an overfill exhaust port.... wouldn't that cause air to enter the master cylinder though?
Any ideas chaps? I've emailled CRC to see if its a common issue, if I can get time ill give Madison a bell and see what they say.
So - Madison have said it's not an oil overflow / exhaust port, it's a permanently fitted cap from the factory.
Still not sure why oil is leaking from the cap though.
Same has happened with my Elixirs when bleeding recently.
Have ignored it and it seems OK thus far!
