I've just been replacing some older XT ones and I have to say the new ones are a much closer match to the XTR calipers.
Isn't that just a 6-bolt XTR rotor? That would explain the closer match.
Yeah i have some, thought they were xtr till i checked the part number. Saves a bit of weight I think.
Rockplough - no it's the new XT rotor. There isn't any 6-bolt XTR rotor.
Oh - and it's 3g heavier than the old XT rotor too (160mm one anyway).

What I meant was they've basically taken the XTR rotor and given it a 6-bolt spider option (about time too), and called it XT. As of now on the madison site the XT and XTR rotors are almost identical (slightly different spider).
