Any suggestions for other formal and comfortable shoes than ecco?

When im not in my steel toes its RAF issue gibsons. Cheap as chips unissued and tough. Really easy to get a good shine as well.

For information, im not in the RAF (tried to get in though) just had them when I was in the cadets and thought they would make great work shoes ๐Ÿ˜€

I rather like miphesto although I'm not a fan of their London store.

I assume you work somewhere that jeans are not acceptable and therefore you wear formal trousers or a suit? In which case there is only one acceptable footwear choice - The RM Williams boot. They are comfy and last forever. And forever. And then will be passed onto your progeny. And probably theirs too.

Loake good. Or church's. Or grensons.

Or if you're in west yorks try jacksons in mirfield (have their own label shoes)

I got a pair of Blundstone 500 boots in black, don't even know I've got them on and shine up real nice.
Robust enough if I have to do site work too
