Has anyone done this? I'm guessing it is a bit dull but seemed like something that might be doing once for interest value alone.

It's actually a walking trail - I bought the official route pack from Wiltshire Council.

Nevertheless I have however planned both a road and off-road version that I intend to do at some point. There's some really nice scenery in Wiltshire (now live there).

hi guys we ride all of these areas regulary in
the summer ( what summer i ask myself ) its nearly all bridleways and rights of way, excellent for mtb nothing to scary. long gradual climbs. we connect up the ridgeway via avebury upon to the wandyke then via savernake forest back to swindon, encoporating four hillforts this is an excellent ride in good weather.

Cool thanks for the feedback. I'm looking for a nice long local route and it seems to fit the bill.
